Good thing you didn't tag me on this one.
I can't NAME 20 albums.

I would agree with you on the "not liking many albums" especially lately. I don't buy whole albums any more, I mostly buy singles.

Holy Moly, Batman! I've been tagged again! Okay. It may be a day or two before I get it done - I have to photograph a high school band concert tomorrow night.

Well, OG, we have completely different tastes (due in large part, I suspect, to the difference in our ages, and the fact that I've never heard about half of the artists you've listed), but I definitely would have considered that Paul Simon album if I owned it. (Instead, I've got a collection of various Paul Simon/Simon & Garfunkel albums, none of which made it into my top 20 because I don't love enough cuts on any of them to call it a favorite. Graceland came very close, though.)

Graceland was close, but a. I don't own it and b. Love Songs and Negotiations has a better list of songs, I think. I love old Simon & Garfunkle songs, but I have to love to listen to the entire album in order to list it.
In truth my list was done quickly. A couple of the albums are very new and haven't stood the test of time, but I didn't to mull over it all day.

Wow. I am getting old. I recognize Paul Simon, Eric Clapton, Pink Floyd, Megadeth and Metallica.
I noticed as my kids went through the skating rink stage that a good way to judge how old you really are (not chronologically, but culturally) is listen to the music. A slot of it does not even count as music.

I missed one (probably more than one). I really love the Windham Hill Guitar Sampler CD. Windham Hill is known for new-agey-drek, but this one is very good.
