Camera Experimentation: Flowers
Wednesday, October 22, 2008
I stopped at a field near my apartment on the way home to see how well the new lens does with close ups. This is definitely one area where the new camera beats the old camera hands down.
You'll need to enlarge to see the lady bugs. They've been everywhere the last couple of weeks.

You have a really good eye and a knack for using your new camera already.
I'm going to send you a tutorial sometime today on removing wires!

You already have a nice touch with the depth of field. I'm looking forward to seeing all the pictures with the new camera. I've coveted that camera for quite some time...

Nice photos! Wonder if we'll get infested with lady bugs this year? One year the house was crawling with them, but that was when I still lived in the country.

The daisies! (Or is that one of those "daisy bushes"... I don't know what you call them...)
Pure delight.

Mamacita: Thanks! That means a lot coming from you.
April: Thanks, April.
Toniya: Thanks, Toniya. I'm really, really happy with the camera so far. I'm still getting a lot of blurry pictures, but I think that's because I'm not concentrating on the photo enough.
PBS: I've heard they've been all over buildings, but I haven't seen many. Our ladybugs have mostly been yellow and green, which isn't what I'd traditionally expect.
LL: I love taking pictures of different types of flowers. Thanks for stopping by.
