Monday, June 04, 2007
So, I didn't get a whole lot read last month. I am almost done with The Planets and I'm halfway through American Gods. The books I've read recently have really made me appreciate The Last Colony. It was so effortless and so enjoyable.

How Do You Know It's True - Hy Ruchlis
The Last Colony - John Scalzi
Letter to a Christian Nation - Sam Harris
Currently Reading
The Planets - Edited by Byron Preiss
The Blind Watchmaker - Richard Dawkins

*sigh*
I wish I could remember the last book I read. Oh wait....It was a book about colors!
Oh, the joys of being a SAHM.

American Gods is the only one I've even heard of! I suck.

Be warned, the Dark Tower series is highly addictive. The first book didn't draw me in much, but the second one hooked me, and after I finished the third one around 10:30 one night I drove to the book store in my pjs because I HAD to have the next one right away. Also be warned, once you read DT you'll want to reread any other King books you've already read, there are tons of Tower allusions throughout his work.

I have the first 3 DT books, so I may end up bumping other books for the second two. ;)
