    Now, see, I would have guessed your list would have been even longer than this! And I did notice that you left out The Sparrow for some reason. Did you also read it before '07? Anyway, I've read about a third of your list, though not all of them were last year.

    I read The Sparrow a couple of times before, the first time being sometime around 2000.

    I really didn't read as much as I wanted to, but I did manage to average more than 2 a month, which for some weighty volumes isn't bad.

    I need to find a way to read more though because I have so many books piling up. It's kind of bad to complain about so many good titles, but how can I possibly read them all? :)

    You are far better than me. If I can get 18 read in a year, I'm ecstatic! I think I did about 14 in '07, but like you say, some were pretty heavy reading. More important for me than sheer numbers is that I learn something and I feel like I learned a lot in '07, including how to enjoy reading for reading's sake again! Viva the Non-Believing Literati!
