There are some great shots here. Kind of snapped my brain when we were suddenly inside a restaurant though! :)

I really like the tight focus, moving out to blur around the edges and the colors were phenomenal.

Naturally we don't get the strong "fall vibe" out here, but it still exists, despite what they say. The peach and apricot trees at our house are beautiful.... well, the *peach* is. I just looked at the apricot tree and... eh....

How are you and "M"?John Evohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10868904051881865159noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-21863196.post-22944332219991093922009-11-17T16:12:17.038-06:002009-11-17T16:12:17.038-06:00Thanks for stopping by, Damien and Kyle. Kyle, the difference was probably in the aperture or maybe how close the subject was.

I'd like to expand my lens horizon more, but somehow I always find myself going back to the 50mm. Any suggestions on other types to try? I've thought about getting a macro to experiment with since I love close-ups.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09429263099197981481noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-21863196.post-4061013713459799662009-11-16T20:29:05.512-06:002009-11-16T20:29:05.512-06:00Wow, that is a totally different look on nature sh...Wow, that is a totally different look on nature shots. LOVE IT. I think you did really well, I've seen so many bad versions of these shots so I'm impressed.

It's weird, because in some, it looks totally tilt-shifty, and then in other shots the look is completely different. Sounds like it's a pretty versatile lens!Kylehttp://www.kylehepp.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-21863196.post-22562312508345454682009-11-16T20:04:36.137-06:002009-11-16T20:04:36.137-06:00That's a really great collection of fall image...That's a really great collection of fall images.
