When I lived in Boston I was an exit away from Portland, Maine several times, but I never made it into the state. I should have taken a drive up the coast, but I never made the trip.

Update: Added Utah. I forgot completely that I spent a couple days in beautiful Park City.

You have me beat by a loooooong shot! I admit that I have seen a pathetically small amount of my own country. I'm looking forward to changing that though while we're on our big trip. I'm impressed by how much you've seen!

Mamacita: My parents love to travel. We did a lot of road trips. You can see that we always lived East of the Mississippi though.

In fact, my parents have been to four continents, which is pretty damn good. Three of those were from one trip to Egypt, Greece, Israel, and Lebanon, but still...

I've still only traveled in two continents. I'd like to have five traveled, even if only a little before I'm too old to want to travel anymore.

I've seen a lot of the USA and Canada (44 states and all 10 provinces (but not the territories way up north)) but have not made it out of North America. Oh, yeah, I made a quick trip into Mexico once, but that hardly counts.

I want to hit Europe, Africa and Australia, at least - New Zealand too.

You're missing some of my very favorite states: WY, ID and MT. They're all good in any season!

Of course, you've almost made it to MN. You need to be brave and come all the way in.

Tonyia - you're right about those three states. I love them.
